Andrea Bowen (born Andrea Bowen) is an American actor from the United States. Andrea Bowen started her career as an actor in the stage of Broadway with musicals such as Les Miserables or The Sound of Music. Julie Mayer was her role on ABC's comedy-drama Desperate Housewives. She portrayed the role on a daily basis until the year 2008. Julie's parents were Susan Delfino (mother) and Karl Mayer. Growing up Julie was the perfect child for Susan she was frequently viewed as the mother of their marriage as she cooked, cleaned and even gave her mother dating advice. Andrea Bowen portrayed Amy in season five Episode 19 of Station 19, All I Want for Christmas is You. Andrea Majanik Bowen and Melanie Somjen Frazer were married in St. Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church, Washington on the weekend. The ceremony was performed by Rev.
