Ms. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural clinical social worker, with more than 13 years experience working within the sector of non-profit. She has worked with diverse people, such as LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse as well as survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. In 2019 she has been working with Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. She is currently offering online Behavioral Health and telehealth. Mrs. Rivas, who is part of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team that works with pregnant and postpartum women. She is a trauma-informed therapist for adults, and is a specialist in trauma-informed treatment. She offers Individual and Group Therapy, Medication-Assisted Treatment, referral to specialty care, and Women's Support group. Amanda also volunteers at Best Friends Animal Society, aiding animals in need to find permanent new homes. Amanda is a firm believer of Best Friends' slogan, "Save Them All" and will do everything she can to make Los Angeles become a no kill city.
